A rather nice and complex Springbank, full of oloroso goodness, great deal of funk, perhaps the finish was a bit of a let-down, since there were a weird note to it that I didn’t quite enjoy.

A rather funk centric sherry cask, full load of sulphur, medicinal capsule note (go smell a bottle of pills). Only a touch of raspberry weaving into the glass full of funky, dirty smoke. Not a bad, but wouldn’t buy one for myself.

Having tried the Longrow 10, this was quite disappointing, rather basic and simple, would vouch for the Bunnahabhain Ceobanach for the same price.
